Planning Commission Members Wanted – Letters of Interest Now Being Accepted

Emmett Charter Township is currently accepting Letters of Interest from residents interested in serving on the Planning Commission.

The Planning Commission plays a vital role in guiding the future growth and development of our community by reviewing land use, zoning matters, and long-range planning initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for residents who want to make a lasting impact on the future of Emmett Charter Township.

We encourage residents with knowledge of, experience in, or an interest in representing one or more of the following important segments of the township to apply:

Letters of Interest must be submitted no later than:
Monday, November 30, 2026, at 5:00 p.m.

Appointments to the Planning Commission will be made by the Township Board during its December 2026 Board Meeting.
