The Charter Township of Emmett is accepting applications for appointment to the position of Township Clerk to fill the vacancy. The appointment will remain in effect until the next regular scheduled election, in accordance with Michigan Law.
The Clerk serves as the Township’s official record keeper, oversees Accounting, Elections, administers voter registration, and maintains the Qualified Voter File, Chairs the Election Commission, maintains cemetery records, and serves as FOIA Coordinator.
Interested applications should submit a letter of interest and resume to the Township Supervisor’s Office by May 4th, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
