In compliance with state requirements to eliminate lead water services, Emmett Township and the City of Battle Creek Water & Sewer Department have partnered with Plummer’s Environmental Services to inspect water service lines throughout our community.
✅ What this means for you:

A random selection of customer service lines has been chosen for inspection.

Plummer’s Environmental personnel may need to enter your property to access the water service line near your water meter.

The inspection is quick (just a few minutes) and free of charge.

Staff will document the pipe type/size and take photos for verification.
⚠️ Failure to respond may result in an interruption to your water service.
